Executive Committee Members’ Duties
Executive Committee members perform the duties provided in this section and such other duties as prescribed for the office in these By-Laws.
1. Preside at all meetings of the General Assembly, the Executive and Corporate meetings and the association’s Executive Committee Special meetings.
2. Appoint the Executive Committee members as provided in the association By-Laws, ARTICLE IV Section 5.
3. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the association or the Executive Committee.
1. Perform the presiding duties of the President in the absence of or at the request of the president.
2. Fill the unexpired term if a vacancy occurs in the office of president.
3. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the association or the Executive Committee.
1. Record the minutes of all meetings of the Assembly General and the Executive Committee and Corporate meetings of the association.
2. Be custodian of all documents, including association By-Laws.
3. Conduct correspondence as directed by the association, the Executive Committee and the President.
4. Notify the General Assembly and the Executive Committee and Corporate members of any changes as needed.
5. Fulfill other duties be assigned by the association, the Executive Committee or the President.
1. Coordinate all association’s press and social media.
2. Notify the Secretary-General of any changes as needed.
3. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the association, the Executive Committee, the Secretary-General or the President.
1. Conduct correspondence between the association and the public.
2. Conduct and maintain all association’s social media sites.
3. Notify the Information Coordinator and Secretary-General of any changes as needed.
4. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the association, the Executive Committee, Information Coordinator, the Secretary-General or the President.
1. Be custodian of all funds, disbursing them as directed by the association and proper authorization.
2. Present a financial report at each meeting of the General Assembly, the Executive and Corporate meeting, and the Executive Committee Special meetings of the association as provided in the association By-Laws, ARTICLE V Section 3.
3. Prepare the financial records for audit one or two weeks after the 31st day of December each year, which is the association’s end of fiscal year as provided in the association By-Laws, ARTICLE V Section 4.
4. Notify the Secretary-General of any financial correspondence.
5. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the association, the Executive Committee, the Secretary-General or the President.
1. Provide support and guidance to the Executive Committee and to all members of the association.
2. Give advice on policy matters such as the professional and educational regulations.
3. Have an understanding of the association’s rules, as well as that of the non-profit entities.
4. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the association, the Executive Committee, the Secretary-General or the President.
1. Advise on policy development and legal affairs around the world.
2. Provide support and guidance to the Executive Committee and Corporate members, and to all members of the association.
3. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the association, the Executive Committee, the Secretary-General or the President.
Any member of The CAE, other than the Executive Committee members, can be selected to assist with different tasks within the association as coordinated by the EC.
